Our team members have decades of experience and have worked together for years. DB Tech team members maintain all compliance certifications and attend continuing education and training programs to meet and exceed industry standards. Safety is of our #1 concern both for our team members, our clients and all who are involved in the projects we work on.

WILLIAM W. WOODARD

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Bill is the Chief Executive Officer of DB Tech Inc. Co-founder of the company in 2002, Bill has 40+ years of experience in the utilities and technology industries. Prior to forming the company with David Hawkins, Bill served in an executive position with the Public Service Company of New Mexico — a position he retired from after 20 years of service.

Bill has served as a Certified Fiber Optic Technician for FiberLite International and received specialized fiber optics training at Siecor. His experience and expertise in network design and engineering is unsurpassed in the marketplace.

As the leader of DB Tech’s day-to-day operations, Bill’s primary focus is on customer relations and exceeding customer expectations. His experience in job estimating, installation and testing of digital control systems, scheduling multiple projects on time and on budget, and in quality control has earned him respect amongst his peers and clients alike.

Bill also carries expertise in splicing, troubleshooting, bi-directional testing, and power meter testing to the organization. His project management has spanned a wide geographic scope.

DB Tech Co-Founder

David served as President and Chief Executive Officer of DB Tech Inc. from 2002 to 2023. Prior to forming the company with Bill Woodard, David served in an executive position with the Public Service Company of New Mexico — a position he retired from after 18 years of service.

SCOTT STOWELL

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

With over 30 years of experience under his belt, Scott is a valuable asset to the DB Tech Team. Scott is one of our primary client interface team members, meeting with customers for initial job walks; working with clients in designing and engineering the best possible route to meet their needs; and developing bids for review and approval. Additionally, Scott schedules each project and project appointed employees on a day-to-day basis to assure the most efficient and effective job completion. He oversees follow up invoicing after project completion as well. Scott graduated from FiberLite International and is a Certified Fiber Optic Technician. Scott maintains all safety certifications and continuing education training programs to meet and exceed industry standards.

CODY VEACH

TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER

Cody has been installing and maintaining communication networks for decades and is a Certified Fiber Optic Technician. He was enlisted in the U.S. Army for nine years and is an all-wheel mechanic, electronics technician, Certified OTDR Tech, Certified  Information Tech. Cody graduated from S&S Solutions and is Siecor Certified, Sumotoma Certified, and Trained in EXFO, OTDR and GNNettest OTDR. Cody maintains all safety certifications and continuing education training to meet and exceed industry standards.

DEREK GROVES

OVERHEAD SUPERINTENDENT

Derek has been with DB Tech since the company’s start. His over 25 years of experience installing overhead projects is paramount to our company’s success. He graduated from FiberLite International and is a Certified Fiber Optic Technician, and also has completed a Local IBEW611 apprenticeship. Derek has worked on clients such as FastTrack, Cedar Networks, countless school districts and municipalities and more. Derek maintains all  safety certifications and continuing education training to meet and exceed industry standards.

CINDY DAME

OFFICE MANAGER

Cindy is our office manager and has been part of the DB Tech team for nearly 17 years. Vital to our company’s daily operation, Cindy keeps things running smoothly in the office and with client communication. She has decades of experience in QuickBooks and manages accounts payable, account receivables, and the lion’s share of office tasks. Often when you call us, Cindy will be your first point of contact. Service to our clients is her mission and she succeeds in that mission on a daily basis.

JACOB ALLEN

OVERHEAD FIELD OPERATOR

Jacob is responsible for supervising and setting up all overhead projects. He manages a crew that installs ADSS or lashing fiberoptic cable on power poles. Additionally, he is trained in Fusion Splicing and OTDR testing.

COLBEY CALDWELL

UNDERGROUND SUPERVISOR

Colbey is responsible for establishing and overseeing client expectations, defining project goals, objectives and scope. He develops project plans to ensure a successful and timely project completion. Responsibilities include underground fiber installation, Fusion Splicing, and OTDR testing.

HIRAM HOUSE

HYDROVAC OPERATOR

Hiram operates and maintains the Hydrovac equipment. He is also trained in Fusion Splicing and OTDR Testing.

 

MICHAEL CHAVEZ

TECHNICIAN

Michael is trained in Fusion Splicing and OTDR Testing.

 

LOGAN TABOR

TECHNICIAN

Logan is trained in Fusion Splicing and OTDR Testing.

HYDROVAC TECHNICIAN

Donny operates the Hydrovac equipment.
