DB Tech Inc. has installed fiber optic cable for the Town of Bayfield as part of the Southwest Colorado Area Network (SCAN) project. Upon completion of the SCAN project, the Town of Bayfield contracted with DB Tech to assist in connecting private providers leasing fiber from the Town, general service maintenance and repairs, and emergency response for potential network disruptions related to the fiber optic cable.

I’m pleased to write this letter of recommendation for DB Tech Inc. The City of Durango has benefited from a long-term business relationship with Bill Woodard, Dave Hawkins and their committed staff at DB Tech Inc.
The City of Durango has had numerous fiber infrastructure projects in the last 10 years, for which DB Tech Inc. has consistently been the low bidder. They’ve delivered high quality aerial and underground fiber installation, conduit and pullbox placement, and fiber splicing services. In the last 10 months, DB Tech has provided $300,000 of services to the City of Durango and La Plata County as part of a Southwest Colorado Council of Governments state-funded fiber infrastructure project.
DB Tech Inc.’s flexibility in responding to small jobs that come up on short notice adds to their value as a vendor partner. Bill and his crew also perform a great deal of fiber installation and splicing services for private and co-op telecom providers in the area, and with this knowledge, are able to assist with technical collaboration on public-private fiber partnerships when requested.
Trust is a crucial component in any vendor relationship, and DB Tech Inc. always performs within scopes of work and communicates clearly and changes orders they feel are necessary. Quotes are turned around in a timely manner, invoicing is accurate, and weekly project update meetings are adhered to and informative.

I am writing this letter of recommendation for DB Tech Inc. because I would like to highly recommend Bill and his crew to anyone considering hiring a contractor to do any type of fiber work. DB Tech Inc. works with us on a fairly regular basis with all of our fiber installation needs. Most recently they helped install several miles of fiber to help connect our remote facilities across town to our main campus. Bill is always able to quickly give us a bid and work the jobs into his schedule.
Bill and his crew are total professionals. They are amazingly considerate of our needs and situation in healthcare. They go out of their way to minimize disruption as much as possible. The crew is always reliable, arrives on time, and puts in full days when needed until the job is done. If for any reason the crew ran into any hurdles or scheduling conflicts, Bill always kept us informed and offered to be on-site and available if we needed anything.
